It is time to return to those places that bring me the most peace…to the places that bring me home to myself. So I grab my bag that is always packed and take off spontaneously for Lemuria. I have no particular place in mind other than Lemuria so it’s a crap shoot where I’ll end up as I hold the walnut shell in my hand ready for transport.
The universe decides I will visit the abbey to start. Makes sense. I am on the grounds at the oldest part of the abbey. It is a wall that stands alone in the garden. I follow the wall until I come to one end. A bench has been strategically placed there and I sit for some reflection time. I clear my mind until completely empty as the Tibetan monks have taught me making way for anything the universe has to offer. What is the message for today?
“Just be. No matter where you are or what you are doing, allow yourself to just be. This is how every adventure must begin.”

Wise advice and great header and pictures! Welcome back. Where is it, I’m dying to know?
Over the first cup of morning coffee this makes the perfect read for me. I do love the images you have chosen. The Abbey is, has always been, one of the special Lemurian destinations.
“Just be. No matter where you are or what you are doing, allow yourself to just be. This is how every adventure must begin.”– You have so hit the nail on the head.
“Just be.” Always, always good advice. Why is it so hard to achieve?
I find myself thinking of ghosts in the abbey–a bit of mystery here. Fran
The header photo is one that I took in Ireland last July. I have no idea where it is as I just happened to look out of the window and snapped it while the bus was rolling down the highway. The photos in this post were taken outside the walls of the City of York, England. I took over 5,000 photos on my trip and decided I better start sharing.
Great pictures. It is easy to find the peace withing them.

5,000 photos ? can we see some more of them? I love the one you have chosen for your header
Hi Sally, I’m off travelling in Europe right now and hardly ever get on line. I like your Abbey photos – I’m in Ireland at present and come across similar places. My camera is working over time. I’m looking forward to getting back to Oz and posting some of them online.
I like your advice to clear the mind and be where ever you find yourself. My brain is getting quite cluttered right now – travelling has its down side – i.e. exhaustion.
All the best with your inner adventures – I’ll check back online when I can.
I will definitely be sharing more photos. It has taken several months to edit and I am still finding surprises.
