this collage is lovely – what is it made from?
It really is quite a beautiful collage of fall leaves. I’m curious about your technique, too. Did you collect and preserve your own leaves, create them from other materials, or some third option? Is the background canvas painted with acrylic? Do tell

I went out to the garage and found in a box a plastic branch with leaves made out of silk. I took the plastic off the back of some of the leaves and modge podged completely to the canvas which I painted with water colors. The remainder of the leaves were placed individually and where they touched the canvas, I modge podged to the canvas. Some are stuck to canvas by the the tips of the leaves, the stems, or the middles. The leaves look like they are just scattered and laying on the cavas.

Thank you! I used acrylics on the background then glued some silk leaves on the canvas. I glued only where each leaf touched the canvas.
